Introduced in 1996, ARP offers a culturally respectful alternative to FGM, preserving the significance of traditional rites while eliminating physical harm.Over 8,000 girls have graduated from this program, gaining knowledge in reproductive health, human rights, and life skills.
In partnership with the Women’s Global Education Project, this initiative provides scholarships and mentorship to vulnerable girls, enabling them to pursue education and avoid early marriages.To date, 162 girls have graduated, with 205 currently enrolled.
The TWWP offers boys a safe circumcision experience, paired with mentorship on life skills, FGM awareness, and fostering respectful, collaborative relationships with girls.
Since 2009, TWWP has empowered over 1,000 women through adult literacy classes, enhancing their ability to participate in community development and improve their livelihoods.
